The Skills and Technology Competition for Employees in Shaoshan City has yielded gratifying results

On September 14, 2017, the "Work Small Platform Life Big Stage" Employee Skills Competition, sponsored by the Shaoshan Municipal Federation of Trade Unions and the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, was held in the High tech Industrial Development Zone of Shaoshan City. The competition was promoted and launched in early June. The trade unions of various enterprises organized employees to conduct preliminary rounds and screened the contestants. In the end, 26 contestants from 8 enterprises in the city signed up to participate in the competition for the two projects of turning and welding. Our company has a total of 6 contestants entering the semi-finals of this skills competition.

The organizing committee of the competition invited Mr. Ai Aiguo, the welding chief and national model worker of Xiangtan Iron and Steel Company, to serve as the chief referee. Through intense competition, our company's contestants Liu Siyu and Zhou Zhengyan won the championship in the lathe and welder groups, while Tan Zhenliang and Wang Enping won the second prize in the lathe and welder groups, respectively.
