Good news! The pipeline bureau has set new standards! On November 30th, after intense competition, the Pipeline Bureau successfully won the bid for sections 1, 2, 5, and 10 of the China Russia East Gas Pipeline Project (Heihe Changling)

The China Russia East Gas Pipeline is currently the largest and highest pressure long-distance natural gas transmission pipeline in China, and it is also a major strategic project in global natural gas cooperation.

The implementation of this project is conducive to further improving China's energy structure, achieving energy conservation and emission reduction, improving the atmospheric environment, and enhancing people's quality of life. It is also conducive to driving the economic and social development of the regions along the route, promoting the diversification of China's energy strategy, and ensuring national energy security. It will have a positive driving effect on the development of China's basic industries such as steel smelting, pipe manufacturing, and equipment manufacturing.

The China Russia East Gas Pipeline Project (Heihe Changling) starts from the Heihe Initial Station and ends at the Changling Offload Station.

The scope of this bidding is the line section, which is divided into 10 sections, including 9 sections for the main line and 1 section for the branch line.

The total length of the four sections won by the Pipeline Bureau this time is 321.91 kilometers, of which the first section is 73.3 kilometers, the second section is 71.96 kilometers, the fifth section is 69.11 kilometers, and the tenth section is 107.54 kilometers. The main pipeline diameter is 1422 millimeters, the branch pipeline diameter is 1016 millimeters, and the design pressure is 12 megapascals.

Previously, the Pipeline Bureau had undertaken the construction of the first phase of the China Russia East Line test section and the first and second sections of the test section.

In the process of engineering construction, the Pipeline Bureau takes "full digital transfer, full intelligent operation, and full lifecycle management" as its construction goal, applies digital design results to the entire process of procurement and construction management, optimizes on-site construction organization, realizes mechanized large-scale assembly line operation, uses information management tools, comprehensively improves project management level, and strives to create a demonstration project of mechanized assembly line operation+follow-up overall promotion+digital transfer.

During the construction process, the Pipeline Bureau actively applied the independently developed CPP900 series automatic welding equipment and CPP BK type anti-corrosion workstation, using internal welding machine root welding+external welding machine filling, automatic welding technology for cover surface, as well as mechanical anti-corrosion joint repair technology of automatic sandblasting rust removal+medium frequency heating+infrared shrinkage tempering. While effectively ensuring construction quality, it accumulated rich practical experience and laid a solid foundation for the construction of the natural gas pipeline project of the China Russia East Line.
