The expanding machine belongs to the straight seam metal welded pipe shaping equipment. It uses a conical expanding head to expand inside the steel pipe, eliminate the forming pressure of the steel pipe, and ensure that the true diameter of the entire length of the straight seam welded steel pipe varies. The equipment consists of a small car, an expander, a task sleeve, a fixed seat, an oil cylinder, a smooth station, a bench, a hydraulic station, and electronic control components. The expander is installed on a small car, which is connected to the oil cylinder by a task sleeve. The expander is composed of an expander head, expansion block, guide plate, pull rod, etc. Large equipment that ensures the shape and diameter of straight seam metal welded pipes and eliminates stress through segmented machine extrusion technology

The working principle of the steel pipe expanding machine is to cover the formed and internally and externally welded qualified steel pipes on the mold of the expanding machine. The steel pipes expand outward in the radial direction through the mold, and under the action of the mold, the steel pipe material undergoes flow deformation to redistribute internal stress uniformly. By strictly controlling the radial displacement of the mold, the flow deformation of the steel pipe material can be controlled, so that the diameter accuracy and roundness accuracy of the pipe end within the specified length meet the requirements of API 5L standards.

This machine is a specialized equipment for the production line of submerged arc welded steel pipes. It is used to cold expand and shape the pipe ends of straight seam welded steel pipes or spiral submerged arc welded steel pipes (the inner weld seam within 250mm range of the spiral welded steel pipe end is polished, and the excess height is not more than 0.5mm), so that the diameter size and roundness of the pipe ends within the specified length reach the allowable range, thereby achieving the requirements of round pipe ends and easy welding.

3、 Technical performance
1. This function can expand the diameter of ¥ 508-¥ 920mm steel pipes, and the hydraulic system is equipped with water cooling. The hydraulic components mainly use products from Shanghai Lixin Hydraulic Parts Factory, the sealing ring of the expanded hydraulic cylinder uses products from Guangzhou Hydraulic Research Institute, and the hydraulic pump motor uses products from Shanghai Nanyang Electric Motor Factory.
2. The range of movement of the expanding head along the axis of the steel pipe is 0-500mm.
3. The surface of the expanding disc is equipped with anti-collision devices.
4. The center of the expanding head is adjustable in the height direction and can achieve dynamic alignment with the axis of the steel pipe.
5. The positioning of the expanding die is reliable, and installation and replacement are convenient.
6. The lubrication of the expanding head will not contaminate the inner wall of the steel pipe.
7. The expanding head cone is equipped with dust and protective devices.
8. The programmer uses Delixi PLC programmer.
