On December 23rd, Inner Mongolia Institute of Science and Technology signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China National Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Co., Ltd. and Zhongtai (Suzhou) Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd.
It is understood that the three parties will cooperate to jointly build the Wuhai to Hohhot hydrogen transmission pipeline and the Inner Mongolia Hydrogen Corridor project, which plans to build the highest pressure and longest hydrogen trunk pipeline in China. The project starts from the Wuhai Blue Hydrogen Base and passes through a large clean energy base in the bend of the Yellow River. After completion, it will be an important hydrogen energy storage and transportation infrastructure connecting eastern and western Mongolia, and a core storage and transportation facility for constructing the Inner Mongolia Hydrogen Energy Economic Corridor. It can effectively support the coupled development of hydrogen electricity, reduce the investment intensity of wind and photovoltaic projects, and effectively promote the development of renewable energy.
In recent years, under the background of the "dual carbon" goal, based on the advantages of abundant renewable energy resources and broad hydrogen application scenarios in the autonomous region, the autonomous region government attaches great importance to the development of the hydrogen energy industry and has issued a series of supporting policies such as the "Opinions on Promoting High quality Development of the Hydrogen Energy Industry". It is proposed to seize the key opportunity period of the hydrogen energy industry development, promote the hydrogen energy industry to become an important support point for energy transformation and upgrading, actively build a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient modern energy system, and promote the high-quality development of the hydrogen energy industry in the autonomous region. This close cooperation between the three parties has a solid practical foundation and a beautiful vision.
Next, the three parties will carry out comprehensive and multi-level strategic cooperation to promote the implementation of relevant projects in Inner Mongolia as soon as possible. The three parties will take the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement as an opportunity to further strengthen communication and cooperation, fully leverage their respective advantages, integrate various resources, comprehensively deepen the breadth, depth, and height of cooperation between institutions and enterprises, jointly promote the high-quality development of the hydrogen energy industry in the autonomous region, and contribute to the high-quality development of our region guided by ecological priority and green development.
